Canada’s top legal automation platform partners up with industry-leading legal software provider.
Press Release; Toronto, ON, October 21, 2019 -
Founded Technologies (www.founded.co), the go-to legal automation company for Canadian small businesses, has integrated its platform with Clio (www.clio.com), the industry-leading legal software that serves 150,000 legal professionals globally.
With this integration, lawyers that use Clio Manage, Clio's leading practice management software, will have direct access to the legal documents prepared and filed using Founded’s technology. Any costs associated with filings are directly inputted into Clio to ease the process of billing back to clients.
“Founded has always been about making legal processes simple and pain-free for both lawyers and clients,” says Derek Hopfner, co-founder of Founded. “Clio does an incredible job for legal practice management. We wanted to reduce the amount of time spent switching between platforms and applications. Integrating makes Clio more powerful and gives lawyers more reason to use Founded for incorporating and managing companies.”
Founded and Clio will officially announce this integration today at the annual Clio Cloud Conference in San Diego, which has become one of the legal industry’s premier showcases for innovative technologies and for Clio’s own meteoric growth. It is Clio’s first Cloud Conference since closing over $250m in funding earlier this year.
“Clio is always looking to integrate with the most innovative companies that can provide value to our users,” says Andrew Gay, Manager, App & Developer Ecosystem at Clio. “We’re thrilled to integrate with Founded so lawyers can get a complete incorporation and minute book management solution that shares data and sends documents back to their Clio account.”
Often described as “QuickBooks for Law,” Founded is a collaborative platform that acts as a company’s virtual legal department. Founded has quickly become the leading Canadian platform where both lawyers and clients go to incorporate new companies, manage their ownership structure, and generate contracts and government filings. Since launching in late-2017 in Ontario, Founded has helped thousands of Canadian businesses get incorporated and is now being used by dozens of law firms ranging from sole-practitioners to international Bay Street firms.
